Another project that was fun to complete is this hat from Learn New Stitches on Circle Looms by Anne Bipes. The weaving was very easy to do even though it looks intricate. What a great pattern!
Your hats look great! I’m new to knit and to using a loom…help!!!! I have the same book and have tried to make the same woven-top hat. What knit stitch do you use when it says “knit (e-wrap)”, like for rows 3-10? In the general directions there is no stitch that is called knit. I don’t see a stitch that looks like that stitch either. Also, my weaving on the top was a lot loser then yours and in the picture of the book. How do you get yours so tight? I used the same yarn that it calls for. As you can see I could use any help you can give me. Thanks so much for sharing your talent.
Thanks for the compliment. Basically, knit just means to lift the bottom loop over the top. As for the top of the hat, you just have to try to keep the yarn tight. If you need any more help, email me so I can respond personally to you.
